With all the drama and complications that come with two celebrities hooking up, Emma Watson would rather date
non-famous guys.
And at the Empire Awards in London last night, the “Harry Potter” actress stepped out with a self-confessed “nobody,” looking very happy and very much in love.
In the past, Emma has been linked to rocker Johnny Borrell, as well as her well-known co-star Daniel Radcliffe. But according to onlookers at the trendy London night club Carbon, she only had eyes for her working stiff boyfriend.
A witness told press, “They look very loved up. Emma looked really happy.” And when a female fan asked Emma’s man what films he’s been in, he replied, “Nothing. I’m a nobody. I work in admin.”
Reportedly Emma and her man left the club separately, but were reunited soon thereafter and spent the night together in a hotel.

Watson has been filming a role as a schoolgirl for the BBC’s Ballet
Shoes. But the part isn’t a huge departure for her. In the Harry Potter
movies, Emma has become famous for her role as a student at Hogwarts
School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But this time around, she’s playing
a part sans magic.
Watson’s character, Pauline, is an aspiring actress, and she, along
with two other orphan sisters, is adopted by her uncle. The other two
sisters, Petrova and Posy want to be a pilot and a ballerina,
respectively. The movie is based on the book Ballet Shoes by Noel
Streatfeild, and dates back to September of 1936. It’s set to premiere
later this year during Christmastime.
There’s the Emmys, the Oscars, the Golden Globes… but none of those compare to the UK Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards. It’s the first year for the show in Britain, and they’ve honored one of their own, Emma Watson, as Best Movie Actress. The ExCel arena in London was the scene of the awards show this past Saturday, which saw Watson fend off the likes of Dakota Fanning, Keira Knightley and Cameron Diaz to win the accolade. As she accepted the award, the Harry Potter actress exclaimed, "This is so cool. I'm so thrilled."
Johnny Depp was another big winner this past weekend, winning Best Movie Actor for “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.” And UK boy band McFly were named Best Band, while Avril Lavigne took home the award for Best Female Singer. Actress Emma Watson, known for playing Hermione Granger in all the "Harry Potter" films, is having trouble with an obsessed fan.
Sky News reported that the 16-year-old actress was recently approached by a man in his 20's who had been following her into her open lectures at her school in Britain.
"The man actually gate-crashed her school," the source said. "She was very alarmed and worried." After the man began questioning Watson about the "Harry Potter" films, police arrived at the scene and questioned him. While police warned the man to leave the actress alone, her school and parents began to take precautions to ensure her safety. Watson, who now will have a bodyguard at the school, previously said that her increasing popularity has made having a boyfriend an impossibility.
