Emma Watson Checks Out Dior Show in Paris

When she isn’t busying herself with her starring role in the massively popular “Harry Potter” movie series, Emma Watson enjoys checking out some high fashion.

And the paparazzi caught up with her earlier today as she checked out the Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2009 show in Paris, France as part of Paris Fashion Week.

Emma recently revealed that she plans on pursuing higher education, and hence putting her acting career on hold. She told press, "I would like to go to university and complete a degree and so that will mean a break from acting."

She continued, "If I stay in this country I will read English Literature, and if I go to America I will do a Liberal Arts program. Any future projects will take second place to university."

I stumbled across this portion of an interview with the actor who plays Cormic. Thought it might be of interest given some threads presented while filming was taking place.

Stroma, who had to take a year out of his degree because of filming in Ireland, described the experience so far as: “Crazy. Really, really cool.”

Stroma told London Student that co-star Daniel Radcliffe is: “Hyper but really friendly.”

Despite being left under the mistletoe by her character Hermione Granger, Stroma describes the world’s 33rd sexiest woman (according to FHM) Emma Watson as: “really fun and grounded and in no way a diva” and Rupert Grint (Ron) as: “really cool, incredibly witty, but surprisingly quiet.”

With all the drama and complications that come with two celebrities hooking up, Emma Watson would rather date

non-famous guys.

And at the Empire Awards in London last night, the “Harry Potter” actress stepped out with a self-confessed “nobody,” looking very happy and very much in love.

In the past, Emma has been linked to rocker Johnny Borrell, as well as her well-known co-star Daniel Radcliffe. But according to onlookers at the trendy London night club Carbon, she only had eyes for her working stiff boyfriend.

A witness told press, “They look very loved up. Emma looked really happy.” And when a female fan asked Emma’s man what films he’s been in, he replied, “Nothing. I’m a nobody. I work in admin.”

Reportedly Emma and her man left the club separately, but were reunited soon thereafter and spent the night together in a hotel.

Yes boys, you can wipe the drool from your chin. English hottie Emma Watson has been filming a role as a schoolgirl for the BBC’s Ballet Shoes. But the part isn’t a huge departure for her. In the Harry Potter movies, Emma has become famous for her role as a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But this time around, she’s playing a part sans magic.

Watson’s character, Pauline, is an aspiring actress, and she, along with two other orphan sisters, is adopted by her uncle. The other two sisters, Petrova and Posy want to be a pilot and a ballerina, respectively. The movie is based on the book Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfeild, and dates back to September of 1936. It’s set to premiere later this year during Christmastime.

UK Kid’s Choice Honors Emma Watson

There’s the Emmys, the Oscars, the Golden Globes… but none of those compare to the UK Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards. It’s the first year for the show in Britain, and they’ve honored one of their own, Emma Watson, as Best Movie Actress. The ExCel arena in London was the scene of the awards show this past Saturday, which saw Watson fend off the likes of Dakota Fanning, Keira Knightley and Cameron Diaz to win the accolade. As she accepted the award, the Harry Potter actress exclaimed, "This is so cool. I'm so thrilled."

Johnny Depp was another big winner this past weekend, winning Best Movie Actor for “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.” And UK boy band McFly were named Best Band, while Avril Lavigne took home the award for Best Female Singer. Harry Potter Actress Emma Watson's Admirer

Actress Emma Watson, known for playing Hermione Granger in all the "Harry Potter" films, is having trouble with an obsessed fan.

Sky News reported that the 16-year-old actress was recently approached by a man in his 20's who had been following her into her open lectures at her school in Britain.

"The man actually gate-crashed her school," the source said. "She was very alarmed and worried." After the man began questioning Watson about the "Harry Potter" films, police arrived at the scene and questioned him. While police warned the man to leave the actress alone, her school and parents began to take precautions to ensure her safety. Watson, who now will have a bodyguard at the school, previously said that her increasing popularity has made having a boyfriend an impossibility.

The Harry Potter star has reportedly dished out £1 million on a ski chalet in the fashionable French resort of Meribel, according to The Telegraph.

“The house is Emma’s way of celebrating her recent straight As at A-level and finally getting her hands on some of her hard-earned cash. She worked really hard this year and didn’t have much of a birthday party so this was her present to herself,” a friend said.

“Like her co-stars, Emma has received some pretty sound advice about money. She always wanted a ski chalet and she’s having a great time doing it up. She’s looking forward to having friends to stay.”
